There is only one International Airport on the island, and it's in Denpasar on the southern end. You would fly into Denpasar or DPS.

If you have miles and book far enough in advance, you may be able to get a ticket with 60,000 miles. This would only cover your flight from the west coast, L.A., S.F. or Seattle to Bali. Another 25,000 could probably get you a flight to the coast.

Depending upon the airline that you fly, there will be a stop between the US and Bali. I've often scheduled a stop-over in this city for a few days (i.e. Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok etc) to both break-up the flight, and experience another city. You can usually do this at no extra cost.

The flight is fairly expensive, averages $900-$1500, and long. There is no getting around this....But, once you arrive in Bali, you will experience such a sense of well-being and peace, that you'll agree that the flight will have been worth it!

And, although Bali is costly to get to....once you're here, most of the things you'll be interested in doing, will be surprisingly affordable.

For example, massages will cost $5-10, meals $5-10, car and driver for the day, $35 etc.

So, take the plunge, give in to the urge to nurture yourself and have an experience unlike any you've had before.....come to Bali...
